Subject: [Openvas-discuss] Unable to download SCAP data

We're testing OpenVAS out in our environment and during a new setup on a fresh CentOS 7 install I got to the point where I need to sync SCAP data but am unable to due to this error:
[i] This script synchronizes a SCAP data directory with the OpenVAS one.
[i] This script is for the SQLite3 backend.
[i] SCAP dir: /var/lib/openvas/scap-data
[i] Will use rsync
[i] Using rsync: /usr/bin/rsync
[i] Configured SCAP data rsync feed: rsync://
rsync: failed to connect to ( Connection timed out (110)
rsync: failed to connect to (2a01:130:2000:127::d1): Network is unreachable (101)
rsync error: error in socket IO (code 10) at clientserver.c(122) [Receiver=3.0.9]
[e] Error: rsync failed. Your SCAP data might be broken now.
I whitelisted that domain in our firewall although it doesn't seem to be blocking it based on the logs. Is there anything I can try to remedy this?
Thank you.
