Hi Yann,
Any advice on how to proceed with this?

Thank you

Sorry for cross-posting, but all my attempts of getting some attention in the following months on the users list have failed :-)

Is there a way to get these changes reviewed and hopefully included in the next release?
And the follow ups 1811104 and 1811105 too, not sure if there others.

Thank you

Hi Andrei,

Committed to trunk (, should have a better visibility (and review) now.

That's called lazy consensus :)

In other words, I'll commit it to trunk (once rebased, since it
currently applies to 2.4.x only).
There, it will easily/likely be reviewed/amended by others, either
before or after the backport is proposed for some future release (no
timeline for this yet).
