Re: enable cloudStack SSL

Hi Richard,

4.11.1+ uses embedded jetty (we'll need to update the docs). To enable HTTPS you can configure the port and keystore file etc at the /etc/cloudstack/management/ and restart management server: (for example)

# The keystore and manager passwords are assumed to be same.

For above to work you'll need to create a java keystore file and use that in the config file above. Several ssl certificate issuers/providers have docs on how to do that, for example:

Subject: enable cloudStack SSL

How can I enable SSL on cloudStack 4.11.1?

I have looked over the documentation located at:

Those refer to Tomcat configuration files that do not seem to exist on my installation like the Tomcat server.xml file. In fact, I do not see a Tomcat directory on my server at all.
My installation is on Ubuntu 16.04 LTS via the ShapeBlue repository.

I tried modifying but that did not work.

Any suggestion on how to get SSL working?

Thank you in advance!
